Self-leveling Cements

Most Commonly Used in Residential & Commercial Applications

Self-leveling Cements
Underlayments

For nearly 20 years, Ultra Quiet Floors has been a leading installer of self-leveling cements. These self-leveling cements are usually 3 to 5 times the cost of the standard gypsum underlayments, mostly due to their higher PSI (pounds per square inch) and the nature of their specialty application.

If your project requires a high PSI, durable floor underlayment for high traffic use or a 12- to 24-hour cure for the application of most floor goods, then self-leveling cements are the commercial solution for you. The typical PSI ranges from 3,000 to 7,000 PSI for these products.

Decorative & Wearing Surface

Self-leveling cements can also serve as a wearing surface and as a finished floor without any floor covering. From coffee shops and beauty salons, to retail stores and custom homes, self-leveling wearing surface cements are being used more frequently as a multi-purpose floor leveler, re-surfacer and finished floor. More durable than standard concrete, Ultra Quiet Floors can install self-leveling wearing surface cements in standard or custom colors for your project.

Want something even more unique? Consider acid staining, which may also be applied to wearing surface self-leveling underlayments.

Go to Acid-stained Concrete for more information.

Floor Preparation

Self-leveling cements usually require shot blasting to prepare old or new concrete for self-leveling cements to be applied due to the tremendous bond that is require for this application.

Go to Floor Surface Preparations to learn about our shot blasting and other floor preparation services.
